While this might not sound terribly scary, in reality Five Nights at Freddy's is a genuinely unsettling but hugely enjoyable game, thanks to its minimalist approach, intense atmosphere and brooding visuals. Character movement can for the most part be predicted, allowing players to create a strategy but one moves completely at random which really throws a spanner in even the best laid plans and it's this sense of the unknown that is perhaps the game's strongest point. This isn't a game of full-on action but slow-burning terror where it's the possibility and threat of attack which is most frightening.

Visually, the game is a masterpiece of understated design, with an incredibly evocative setting that is all the more unsettling because of its familiarity.

Everything is wreathed in shadows with every hint of movement inducing panic in the player and when those animatronic animals lurch towards you from the darkness, it takes a bold player not to flinch in terror.

The animals themselves are superbly designed, both welcoming and utterly terrifying in equal measure and they are sure to enter the hall of fame for videogaming villains. While the gameplay is simple enough, this works to the game's advantage and it is never less than compelling. The first part of The Undead King gives you the chance to play as an evil necromancer or take control of a noble knight.

Two campaigns offer two different perspectives. The Chaos Lord sequel focuses on Adventure of a succubus and an orc chieftain. The second part of Adventure also features two story branches for completely different characters. The Legend, the third game, allows you to go on an Adventure as a dwarf lord or play as a daring dryad. Age of Fear Collection is action packed and will challenge even the most experienced players. The final part of The Iron Killed is dedicated to one character only - the vampire hunter, who begins the righteous path of extermination of evil spirits.

The game give you own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. This is a fantastic horror game with great action, good graphics, nice gameplay, rich story and everything else that that might imply. This is classic first person shooter can spook you multiple time.

It has some good moments of tension, and some good horror aspects.
